Privacy and cookies

This is a technical description of how the website processes data, prepared for later legal review.

What we collect

We count page requests, URL language, the first browser language preference, response status and time, approximate response size, referrer domain and coarse device/browser categories. We do not store query strings, full referrer URLs or raw IP addresses in analytics. Unknown paths are grouped to avoid recording private data.

Only with your consent do random first-party visitor and session cookies help estimate daily visitors and sessions. Daily HMAC hashes are stored instead of cookie values. No hardware fingerprint, advertising tracker or cross-site identifier is used.

Your analytics choice

Analytics cookies are off until you agree. Refusing or withdrawing consent leaves the site fully functional. Anonymous request totals remain available. Browser DNT/GPC signals suppress analytics identifiers.

Your saved choice: analytics cookies not allowed.

Cookie categories

Essential cookies support language preference, form security, your consent choice and private administrator authentication. The consent choice lasts 180 days. Optional visitor cookies last up to 90 days; session cookies expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Retention

Raw analytics: 30 days. Aggregate statistics: 730 days. Raw IP addresses in separate security events: 14 days, then removed; security/audit events: 90 days. Server access logs retain IP addresses for up to 14 days and omit query strings and referrers. Private backups may retain deleted data for up to 14 additional days.

Contact and security

Contact form data is used only to handle your message and deliver it by email when delivery is enabled; message bodies are not stored in analytics or application logs. Access to operational data is restricted to the site owner. Security records help investigate abuse. For data questions, contact programajster1@gmail.com.
